EEG microstates have emerged as a powerful approach for exploring the complex dynamics of the human brain. These rapidly fluctuating, short-lasting patterns of global brain activity provide a direct window into the temporal organization of large-scale neural networks. In recent years, research on EEG and ERP microstates has grown substantially, highlighting their relevance for understanding cognitive and emotional processes. At the same time, microstate parameters have shown promise in identifying and differentiating neuropsychiatric conditions and in tracking treatment-related changes.<\/p>\n
This international conference will bring together researchers working on EEG and ERP microstates to present recent findings, discuss methodological innovations, and address open theoretical and clinical questions.
